Abstrakt: The article discusses the Zebrafish health and welfare database, which was created in collaboration with Zebrafish specialists and veterinarians to provide a standardized approach to language and severity scoring used across facilities. The database allows for the sharing of husbandry requirements and raises awareness of potential health concerns specific to genetic background or environmental impacts on the fish. The University of Cambridge uses the database to recognize patterns of disease, identify phenotypes, adhere to humane end points, and train staff in severity scoring. The article acknowledges the support of various organizations in the development of the database. [Extracted from the article]
