Sarah Mangelsdorf has been reappointed as president of the University of Rochester for another five-year term. During her first term, the university saw increases in undergraduate applications, research expenditures, and fundraising efforts. Under her leadership, the faculty at the university has become more diverse, with higher percentages of nonwhite and female faculty members. Dr. Mangelsdorf has also overseen the development of new buildings and infrastructure improvements at the university.
