The article refers to contemporary concepts of temporal diversity and combines such concepts as heterochrony, heterotopia, and chronotopia to describe changes in the course of social time. As examples of temporal shifts, the author mentions a variety of phenomena that occurred after Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, based on how Ukrainians read these phenomena. The author presents martial law and occupied territories as types of heterotopia and mentions the changes in official Ukrainian calendar as a transformation of the Ukrainian chronotope by highlighting the role of its material carriers such as household objects, architecture, infrastructure, and the natural environment in establishing or disintegrating time frames.
