Abstrakt: A recent report from the Medical University of Silesia discusses the relationship between the use of psychoactive substances and the occurrence of prodromal symptoms of psychosis. The study found that there is a positive correlation between the intensity of psychoactive substance use and the risk of prodromal symptoms. The research also suggests that early exposure to these substances may increase the likelihood of heavy substance use in adulthood and more frequent prodromal states. The study surveyed 703 participants who were users of illegal psychoactive substances and found that tetrahydrocannabinol-containing products, MDMA, amphetamines, and LSD were the most commonly used drugs.
