A recent study conducted by NanoLayr Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand, has explored the potential of collagen-based nanofibers for skincare applications. The study found that the nanofibers, developed using a sonic electrospinning technique, demonstrated uniformity and permeation into the epidermis and dermis. In vitro and in vivo studies also confirmed the safety of the nanofibers. Clinical trials on human subjects further supported the efficacy of the nanofiber products, showing improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and overall health.
