Researchers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang in Indonesia conducted a study on the effects of red ginger extract on gastric tissue damage caused by alcohol. The study involved administering red ginger extract at different doses to rats induced with 40% ethanol. After 30 days of treatment, the researchers found that the administration of red ginger extract at a dose of 750mg/KgBW effectively prevented damage to the gastric mucosa induced by ethanol. This research provides insights into the potential protective effects of red ginger extract on gastric health. [Extracted from the article] |
