–Several natural products extracted from trees exhibit significant anti-cancer activity. However, the efficacy of these products varies depending on the type of cancer, as well as the pathways involved, such as mitochondrial pathways, ROS pathways, p53 pathways, and nuclear factor-κB signaling pathways. Therefore, it is essential to comprehend the diverse anticancer pharmacological mechanisms of these products on specific tumor cells to determine their therapeutic windows, optimize treatments, and develop new anticancer drugs. This review paper discusses the structure-activity relationship, pharmacological effects, and applications of paclitaxel, betulic acid, and camptothecin in various cancers. Additionally, their potential in tumor treatment and the delivery system of new effective anticancer drugs are discussed in detail, providing a comprehensive understanding of the latest progress of paclitaxel, betulic acid, and camptothecin anticancer drugs.
