| Abstrakt: |
This article discusses a study that examined the impact of different trimline designs and directions of translation on orthodontic forces and moments in clear aligner therapy. The study found that aligners with a flat trimline design exerted higher forces and moments compared to aligners with a scalloped trimline design. Additionally, palatal movements resulted in higher forces and moments compared to buccal movements. However, the study has limitations and further research is needed to improve clinical outcomes.
