A recent study conducted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, has found that integrated yoga can be an effective add-on therapy for adults with clinical depression. The study involved a randomized controlled trial in which participants were assigned to either an integrated yoga group or an active control group. The results showed that the integrated yoga group experienced significant improvements in depression symptoms, resilience, physical health, and negative emotions compared to the control group.
