Abstrakt: The University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with other institutions in Scotland, is conducting a clinical trial to assess the use of computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA) in identifying high-risk cardiovascular disease patients before kidney transplantation. Cardiovascular disease is a common complication of kidney failure, and current strategies for assessing risk are ineffective. The study aims to develop CTCA as an effective tool for risk stratification. The study is open to individuals aged 16 years and older who have kidney failure and are on the waitlist for a kidney transplant. Data sharing will be allowed after necessary approvals.
