Abstrakt: |
A study conducted by Chouaib Doukkali University in Morocco aimed to investigate the prevalence and determining factors of obesity and hypertension in the Khouribga province. The study found that both general and abdominal obesity were prevalent, with no significant difference between urban and rural areas. Hypertension was present in 35.5% of participants, with a higher prevalence in rural men. The study concluded that abdominal obesity could be a predictive parameter for hypertension in the Moroccan population. [Extracted from the article] |
