Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the Russian Academy of Sciences explores the impact of long-term emotional-painful stress on DNA damage in the cells of various brain areas. The researchers used rat strains with different nervous excitability levels to investigate the reasons for individual differences in post-stress pathologies. The study found that there were different responses to stress in each brain area analyzed, which could help in understanding the reasons for individual differences in the consequences of stress and the formation of post-stress diseases. This research provides valuable insights into the relationship between stress and DNA instability in the nervous system. [Extracted from the article]
