This article, published in the British Journal of Haematology, discusses a case of a 73-year-old woman with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who presented with severe respiratory distress. The patient had a large mass in the right atrium of her heart, which required emergency surgery. Despite treatment, the patient deteriorated rapidly and died. The article highlights the challenges in diagnosing cardiac tumors and emphasizes the importance of transthoracic echocardiograms in detecting cardiac metastasis.
