Abstrakt: This article, titled "Communicating Hydrocephalus Secondary to a Jugular Foramen Schwannoma: A Case Report," discusses a rare case of communicating hydrocephalus associated with an intracranial schwannoma. The patient, a 53-year-old female with a history of stroke, presented with blurred vision and papilledema. Imaging revealed communicating hydrocephalus and a jugular foramen mass. The patient underwent surgery for tumor resection, achieving an aggressive subtotal resection. The pathology confirmed a schwannoma arising from a sensory vagal nerve rootlet. The patient's condition improved postoperatively, and she was discharged without complications. This case highlights the uncommon occurrence of communicating hydrocephalus caused by proteinaceous debris from a vestibular schwannoma. [Extracted from the article]
