Abstrakt: This article, titled "Outcome Analysis of Surgical Treatment of Petroclival Meningiomas," discusses the surgical management of petroclival meningiomas (PCMs), which are challenging skull base tumors. The standard retrosigmoid approach is effective but has limitations for tumors extending into the supratentorial region and middle cranial fossa. The study reviews the clinical experience of using retrosigmoid craniotomy with tentoriotomy and suprameatal petrosectomy for PCMs. The results show that this approach is an effective alternative and provides good outcomes and functional status. However, there is an increased risk of cranial nerve morbidity with more radical surgeries. [Extracted from the article]
