Abstrakt: This article, titled "Keyhole Retractorless Retrosigmoid Approach for CPA Meningiomas," discusses a surgical technique for the resection of cerebellopontine angle (CPA) meningiomas. The study analyzed data from a surgeon case-log and found that the keyhole retractorless retrosigmoid approach resulted in maximal tumor resection and reduced surgical morbidity. The study included five patients, all of whom achieved gross total resection of the tumor. The patients experienced minimal complications, with no cases of CSF leak, wound infection, meningitis, or pseudomeningocele. The study suggests that this technique is a viable alternative for patients with CPA meningiomas, even when performed by less experienced surgeons. However, further research with a larger number of patients is needed to confirm these findings. [Extracted from the article]
