Abstrakt: A study conducted at the Federal University Sao Carlos in Brazil explored the long-term effects of photobiomodulation therapy (PBM) on blood pressure in obese rats induced by a high-fat diet. The researchers found that PBM, carried out three days a week, was able to prevent the increase in blood pressure caused by the high-fat diet. Additionally, PBM restored nitric oxide levels, decreased lipoperoxidation, and improved endothelial function in the rats. The study suggests that PBM may have potential therapeutic benefits for hypertension associated with obesity. [Extracted from the article]
