Abstrakt: A study conducted at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance in China has found that "pink noise" may be an effective sound therapy for treating tinnitus. Pink noise, which has a more balanced frequency distribution than white noise, was used in a clinical study involving 43 adult tinnitus patients with varying degrees of hearing loss. The study found that pink noise therapy resulted in statistically significant improvements in tinnitus symptoms.
