A report from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital discusses the findings of a study on human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination rates among adolescents with sickle cell disease (SCD). The study implemented a vaccine strategy bundle that included education for staff, provider incentives, and verification of vaccine completion. The results showed that the implementation of the bundle led to an improvement in HPV vaccination initiation and completion rates among the patients.
