Abstrakt: This article discusses different grazing systems that horse owners have implemented to maximize pasture and improve the health of the land. One system, called regenerative grazing, involves short-duration, high-intensity grazing followed by a period of rest for the grass to recover. This system has resulted in no mud, surface water, or compaction, and the grass grows waist-high in spring and summer. Other tips for maintaining healthy pastures include harrowing, rolling, reseeding, fertilizing, soil testing, and topping. Additionally, encouraging dung beetles onto the land can help reduce the need for worming. Overall, these grazing systems offer more economical and ecological benefits while requiring less labor.
