Abstrakt: The article focuses on squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) as a sequela of chronic inflammatory skin conditions, highlighting the relatively short lag time from dermatosis onset to malignancy in labial discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), oral lichen planus (OLP), and lichen sclerosus. Topics include the nature and demographics of SCC arising within chronic inflammatory dermatoses, emphasizing the aggressive and often fatal nature of malignancies in orolabial DLE.
