A new method is proposed for obtaining quantum dots based on cadmium chalcogenides CdE (E = S, Se, Te) by chemisorption of polyalkylene chalcogenides on the surface of nanoparticles with the formation of the dendrimeric architecture of nanocomposites. The obtained materials are of interest in various applications in engineering and biomedicine. Nanosystems are long-term aggregatively stable, and the sizes of the nanoparticles were estimated from X-ray diffraction data using the Scherrer formula and transmission electron microscopy. Other structural characteristics and paramagnetic properties of nanocomposites were studied by modern physicochemical methods (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence measurements, etc.). In the electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of nanocomposites the main signal due to conduction electrons was recorded, which demonstrates the quantum size effect of the resulting quantum dots.
