Linear accelerator (Linac) measurements for software Treatment Planning System (TPS) heaver have been carried out using a phantom slab. This study aims to examine and determine the proportion of deviations between the computerized treatment Planning System (TPS) and the output of the linear accelerator (Linac) machine using a slab phantom and to determine the Percentage Depth Dose (PDD) curve between the two. The dosimeter used in the measurement is the Wellhofer IC 70 Farmer ionization chamber detector which uses an IBA electrometer through a coaxial cable. Linear accelerator (Linac) output measurement results are calculated using TRS-398. The phantom was irradiated using 6 MV photon beam X-rays at a depth of 1.5 cm, 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm with variations in field area of 5x5 cm2, 8x8 cm2, 10x10 cm2, and 15x15 cm2 for each depth. The Source Surface Distance (SSD) irradiation conditions were 100 cm, the dose depth was 10 g/cm2, the dose rate was 300 MU/min, the tumor dose was 100 cGy for software Treatment Planning System (TPS), and the administered dose was 100 MU for linear accelerator (Linac). Of the 16 data deviations between calculations on the computerized software Treatment Planning System (TPS) and the radiation output of the linear accelerator (Linac) machine as a whole, it shows that there is a balance with the proportion ranging from-4%-5%. Based on the results of the study obtained deviations that still meet the recommended tolerance value. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
