Abstrakt: Economists are increasingly optimistic about the Polish economy, with a higher growth forecast and lower inflation expectations for 2024. The economy is expected to expand by 2.9% in 2024, compared to the previous forecast of 2.8%. Inflation is also expected to average 4.9%, down from the previous estimate of 5.1%. Recent data, including lower-than-expected December inflation and positive consumer sentiment figures, suggest strong trends in consumption, which is seen as a driving factor in the economic recovery. The growth forecast for 2025 remains stable at 3.4%, with a slight increase in the inflation outlook to 4.1%. [Extracted from the article]
