A recent report from the University of Sousse in Tunisia discusses a rare case of a patient with acromegaly and ACTH-independent Cushing's syndrome. The patient, a 35-year-old male, was diagnosed with acromegaly due to a plurihormonal pituitary adenoma and also had bilateral macronodules. The report highlights the coexistence of multiple endocrine syndromes, including Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 and Carney's complex. The findings suggest that bilateral macronodules can be present in cases of Carney's complex, and further research is needed to understand the relationship between these conditions.
