| Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted in Birmingham, United Kingdom explored the experiences of individuals with fibromyalgia through qualitative research. The study identified three themes and 15 sub-themes that contribute to the experience of fibromyalgia, as well as a decomposition/recomposition spiral that can inform treatment options. The findings suggest that an earlier diagnosis and broader treatment options can improve functional outcomes for patients.
