Abstrakt: The wheelchair is one of the most commonly used assistive devices to help persons with walking issues gain mobility and improve their quality of life. The main issue users have is a loss of independence, and using a manual wheelchair has been proved to cause a lot of discomfort. The proposed task entails creating Internet of Things gadgets and incorporating gesture recognition, ultrasonic technology, and fall detection technology to create a user-friendly, economically viable, and efficient smart wheelchair. Gesture recognition is the process of using mathematical algorithms to interpret human gestures. Ultrasonic technology is utilised to identify impediments for the user's safety, and fall detection technology is used to inform a family member or caretaker by sending a message to the concerned person. Using equipment such as ultrasonic sensors and accelerometers, this proposed approach delivers efficient and safe mobility for the user. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
