Abstrakt: This article discusses the topic of decolonizing German Studies and beyond, focusing on the efforts to decolonize knowledge and its production through pedagogy and institutional practices. The interest in decolonization has been growing in academia for decades, but there is still a need for more consequential efforts. The article highlights the contributions of various scholars who address different aspects of decolonization, including historical, pedagogical, theoretical, and methodological perspectives.
