Abstrakt: The article titled "Letter to the Editor: The Revised Baux Score as a Predictor of Burn Mortality: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis" discusses the importance of using indicators to determine the severity of burn patients in order to optimize resources and improve medical care. The study found that the Baux equation is a reliable predictor for mortality risk in a diverse population, but its effectiveness is diminished for patients at extreme ages. Another indicator, ISQA, was found to be more effective in predicting patients with longer hospital stays. The use of these predictors can help allocate resources, improve patient care, and enhance the quality and access to treatment. The article emphasizes the importance of this tool in burn treatment centers worldwide. [Extracted from the article]
