Professor Grozio Stanilov, a renowned mathematician, passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 90. He had been a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Geometry since 1985 and served on the journal's honorary board for the last ten years. Stanilov made significant contributions to various fields of geometry, including local differential geometry, projective differential geometry, and integral geometry. He was also a dedicated teacher and mentor, with a textbook on Differential Geometry widely used in Bulgarian universities. Stanilov's impact on the development of differential geometry in Bulgaria is widely recognized, and he will be remembered as a strong mathematician and an excellent teacher.
