Abstrakt: The objective of the study has been to analyze the effect of nitrogen fertilization on the yield of standard rooted vines in a vine nursery, under drip irrigation with regulated water deficit. The trials were carried out in 2019, 2021 and 2022 at the Experimental base of the Institute of Viticulture and Enology – Pleven. In a two-factor field experiment, four irrigation regimes (50%m; 75%m; 100%m – optimal; 125%m) were tested at three fertilization rates (50%T; 100%T – optimal; 150%T) with nitrogen fertilizer (ammonium nitrate – NH4NO3). Cuttings of the Muscat Kaylashki variety grafted on the Berlandieri x Riparia rootstock selection Oppenheim 4 (SO4) were used. It had been found that under the soil and climatic conditions of the area where the trial was carried out, the “Fertilization” factor and the interaction between the two factors were statistically insignificant, while the influence of the “Irrigation” factor was proven at a confidence level of 0.1%. The analysis of the differences between the conditionally assumed optimal variant (100%Т/100%m) and the rest of the trial variants showed that only three of them had a statistically proven lower yield compared to the optimal one. All others had statistically insignificant differences. In the general variation of the “Irrigation” factor, it was found that an increase in the irrigation rate above the optimum did not generate a higher yield of standard rooted vines, while a decrease in the irrigation rate was proven to reduce it. The different fertilizer rates did not have a significant impact on the yield of grafted rooted vines, both in the general variation of the “Fertilization” factor and on the differences between the individual rates of fertilization in the irrigation regimes.
