Abstrakt: The milk productivity of Normande cows, recently introduced in Bulgaria, bred on Katarino Farm, in the village of Slivovitsa, Kresna town and the farm of Vasil Vassilev - an agricultural producer (AP) in the town of Kaspichan. Milk productivity, physicochemical composition, total solids, solid-not-fat (SNF) and energy value of milk were studied. The percentage of total solids is a basic, summarizing trait determining the level of concentration of cow's milk. The live weight of the studied animals was also determined. The biological efficiency and the coefficient of biological sufficiency of milk were calculated by formulas. Milk productivity was higher in cows raised in the region of Kresna by 196.91 compared to cows raised in the region of the town of Kaspichan. The values of the coefficients for biological efficiency and biological sufficiency show that more food production was obtained from the cows with the genotype realized in the region of the town of Kresna, calculated on 1 kg of live weight.
