The article presents some abstracts of the articles that are produced in the "X World Symposium on Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology." These abstracts refer to ventricular tachyarrhythmias. In one of the abstracts, it is reported that patency of infarct related artery (IRA) can stabilize the arrhythmic substrate after acute myocardial infarction, but the effects of perfusion of the healed infarct scar on susceptibility to ventricular tachyarrhythmias is not well known. The severity of coronary artery disease, ejection fraction or left ventricular size did not differ between the patients with or without good perfusion of IRA. |
