Abstrakt: This article discusses the use of various imaging techniques in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of Sjögren's syndrome (SjD) and associated lymphomas. Currently, there is no single gold standard test for diagnosing Sjögren's disease. However, salivary gland ultrasonography (SGUS) has shown promise in improving diagnostic criteria for Sjögren's disease, although it cannot replace a salivary gland biopsy. Other imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), sialoendoscopy, ultrasound, scintigraphy, and positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) also have potential applications in diagnosing and monitoring SjD. However, more research is needed to fully understand the benefits and limitations of these techniques. [Extracted from the article]
