A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia aimed to assess parents' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding methamphetamine abuse among youth and its risk factors. The study involved 1179 parents and found that the majority of participants had good knowledge levels about different aspects of methamphetamine abuse, including symptoms and risk factors. However, there were still some gaps in knowledge, with a significant percentage of parents unaware of the main symptoms and long-term side effects of crystal addiction. The researchers concluded that further in-depth studies are needed throughout Saudi Arabia. [Extracted from the article] |
