Abstrakt:	Researchers at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine conducted a study to examine the profile and practice of patients with acute stroke who received intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV tPA) and/or neuro-interventional therapy in Turkey. The study found that IV tPA was administered to 12% of acute ischemic stroke cases, while 8.3% received neurointerventional treatment. The rate of good prognosis at discharge varied depending on the treatment received. The research concluded that IV thrombolytic and neurointerventional treatment in acute ischemic stroke in Turkey can yield positive results. [Extracted from the article]
