Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Suez Canal University in Ismailia, Egypt, explored the effects of Vitamin D3 on liver function and histological changes in obese albino rats. The study found that obesity is associated with liver abnormalities, such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The researchers formed five groups of male albino rats and observed that the group receiving Vitamin D3 supplementation had lower liver weights and improved liver function compared to the control group. The study suggests that Vitamin D3 may have a beneficial effect on hepatocytes affected by obesity. For more information, readers can contact the Department of Zoology at Suez Canal University.
