Abstrakt: A recent report from Pamukkale University discusses a case of Penile Mondor's disease (PMD), a rare disorder characterized by superficial thrombophlebitis or subcutaneous venous thrombosis. The patient, a 47-year-old man, presented with a painless, indurated lesion on the penis shaft that lasted for 15 days. The researchers suggest that diabetic angiopathy, the prothrombotic effect of steroids, and vigorous sexual activity may have contributed to the development of PMD in this case. The rarity of PMD makes this case valuable to share. For more information, readers can refer to the journal article published in Turkderm Turkish Archives of Dermatology and Venereology.
