The study investigated the relationship between mobile data collection and project success. The triple constraint theory guided the study. The main objectives of the study are to analyse the relevance of triple constraint theory and to examine the relationship between mobile data collection and project success. The researcher adopted a cross-sectional survey design under mixed study approach. Data was collected using questionnaire and document review. Data was analysed using narratives, descriptive statistics, correlation and regression. The findings indicate that there is a weak positive relationship between mobile data collection and project success. Conclusively, all aspects of mobile data management have a statistically significant relationship with project success. The study recommended that there is need to adopt mobile data collection in all data management aspects for real time and increased quality data at a reduced cost. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
