Abstrakt: The pesticide's possible consequences on aquatic ecosystems are highlighted in the study on the effects of carbofuran on Clarias batrachus hepatotoxicity. The current study examines the hepatotoxic potential of carbofuran at various dosages and time points. Pesticide is frequently found in urban or agricultural catchments' waterways. Pesticides carbofuran were tested for both individual and collective toxicity. Following exposure to carbofuran, Clarias batrachus fish had routine examinations on six distinct occasions: days 1, 7, 15, 30, 45 and 60. Clarias batrachus was treated and monitored periodically throughout its exposure to carbofuran on days 1, 7, 15, 30, 45, and 60. Total protein, Albumin and globulin show significantly decrement after exposure to carbofuran after 1, 7, 15, 30, 45, 60 days. Albumin/Globulin ratio show significant decrement after 1, 7, 15 days, similarly it show significant increment after 30, 45, 60 day of carbofuran treatment. The current study's toxicity trends show that carbofuran exposure over 60 days had the highest toxicity trends. The indiscriminate use of these compounds endangers human health, damages ecosystems and poses a hazardous threat to non-target organisms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
