Abstrakt: The issue of overfishing has become increasingly prevalent in contemporary society, referring to the unsustainable practice of fishing at a rate exceeding the natural reproductive capacity of fish populations. Such a practice not only has a detrimental impact on the fish themselves, but also generates a ripple effect throughout the ecosystem. The consequences of overfishing include a loss of biodiversity, food insecurity and economic instability for communities reliant on fishing as a source of income. Therefore, it is imperative that immediate action is required to address this issue and promote sustainable fishing practices, ensuring the longevity and health of our oceans, and the many species that inhabit them.
