We consider Taylor Goldstein problem in β-plane under Boussineq approximation, which deals with incompressible, inviscid stratified shear flows. In this paper, first we obtained upper and lower bounds of neutral phase speed. Second, we obtained the bound for complex phase speed which depends on parameter like vorticity function, minimum and maximum of velocity profile and stratification parameter.
