Abstrakt: Plasmonic materials that support epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) modes offer the opportunity to design the enhanced light-matter interactions at the nanoscale through extreme subwavelength light confinement. We experimentally manifested an active tuning of epsilon near zero modes in permittivity of planar CuS plasmonic nanostructures using different ratios of copper precursors in chemical bath deposition (CBD) synthesis. The presence of these modes in synthesized multi-layered nanostructures has been recognized by Ferrel-Berreman (FB) mode reflections in optical diffuse reflectance spectrum and extracted by fitting it with Kramers-Kronig relations constrained Drude-Lorentz multi-oscillator model. Interrelation between plasmon resonance frequencies and derived optical parameters are employed to calculate variation in ENZ modes. The effect of these modes is to enhance electromagnetic absorption and alter charge carrier concentration has been vestige in Raman spectroscopy and Hall measurement respectively.
