A more general, but also more difficult task in combustion methane-air mixture in the combustion chamber (СС) of gas diesel (GD) is to find the composition of the components in the flame developing in the boundary layer. In order to solve it, it is necessary, in our opinion, to consider more aerodynamically simple cases for which the results of the theory of turbulence could be used, to identify the influence of turbulence characteristics on the course of chemical combustion reactions in these conditions, to outline ways of transition to solving the problems of turbulent diffusion combustion in the difficult conditions of the CC of GD.
