The relevance of the study conducted in the article is determined the fact that a qualitative transformation of the higher education system is currently taking place, the key aspect of which is the integration of digital technologies and solutions. An important distinguishing feature of the ongoing digitalization in the field of education is the gradual transition to individual educational trajectories in the context of the development of a unique digital information and educational environment. The hypothesis of the study conducted in the article is that individual educational trajectories will be effective in the case when the process of teaching any academic discipline is based on using the reverse model of pedagogical design, i.e. is built on the basis of the groups of results indicated in the work program. The purpose of the ongoing research is the pedagogical development of individual educational trajectories for students of higher educational institutions within the updated educational and digital information environment. An updated multi-level methodological system of components necessary for high-quality scientific and methodological support of individual educational trajectories is proposed, which will ensure the integration of productive strategies into the system of personal adaptive education. The authors in the article introduce the concept of an adaptive educational trajectory as an educational process, the implementation of which takes place in an electronic-digital educational environment, which includes a set of groups of adaptation strategies designed to transform the content of educational content, methods and forms of organization of learning based on unique educational trajectories, built on personalized groups of needs, interests, the results of the educational process, and the individual distinctive characteristics of the student.
