Preparation of pigment based on solid catalyst waste from the dehydrogenation process.

Abstrakt: In the course of this work, the analysis of existing environmental problems caused by the burial of catalysts, namely spent iron oxide catalysts, was carried out; the possibility of processing waste into pigments, in particular for the preparation of primers, paints, was studied; the analysis of the physico-chemical characteristics of the initial components of raw materials for the production of pigment was carried out; prototypes of products were produced; their quality assessment was carried out. The optimal method of obtaining pigment from the calorific waste of dehydrogenation is selected in the work. The resulting pigment can be used as an anticorrosive additive to paint bases, which will allow to obtain an effective anticorrosive coating. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
