Abstrakt: MTs. Al-Hidayah 2 Bogor in 2019 is a school with a newly built building, which has land that needs greening. Greenery is essential for providing oxygen to the school environment, and some of the greenery planted has medicinal properties. These include ginger, fragrant pandan, rosella, green betel, and so on. The purpose of this research is to carry out greening by planting medicinal plants for health maintenance and preservation of the surrounding environment, as well as a learning resource for students at school, to further learn about students' attitudes and improve students' knowledge and skills to grow medicinal plants. At the beginning of the meeting, a pre-test was conducted on students' knowledge, then continued with presentations and discussions about medicinal plants and how to cultivate them. At the end of the lesson, a post-test was conducted and students filled out the attitude scale instrument about medicinal plants. Furthermore, students plant medicinal plants in the schoolyard. Planting is done by digging the soil and inserting the available plants into the soil, then covering it with ready-to-plant soil media. Plant maintenance is carried out by clearing the land of weeds to prevent competition for nutrients, cleanliness, and plant beauty. The remains of plants and grass are dried and then buried deep into the soil because it can increase soil fertility. The rest of this can also be processed as organic fertilizer or compost. Provision of water using continuous watering is essential, especially for plants that are still young and just growing, subsequently, this watering activity can be adjusted to the environmental conditions of the yard, both dry and wet (humid). The results showed that students had good attitudes, there was an increase in students' knowledge about medicinal plants, and the plants planted by students grew well, which was useful for maintaining the surrounding ecosystem, and became a source of student learning at school.
