Abstrakt: Capsicum, Capsicum annuum var. grossum Sendt is an important spice and annual herbaceous vegetable crop in India. Phytophthora blight is a devastating disease that virtually infects every plant part resulting in root and crown rot, leaf blight, stem blight, and fruit rot. Hence the present investigation is carried out to test the bio-efficacy of novel fungicide molecules against leaf blight, stem blight, and fruit rot of capsicum. The results revealed that among the implemented treatments, valifenalate 6 % + mancozeb 60 % WG at 3000 g/ha was very effective in reducing leaf blight, stem blight, and fruit rot diseases of capsicum with a maximum fruit yield of 31.20 t/ha with B: C ratio of 3.84. Further phytotoxicity was tested, which revealed that there were no visual phytotoxic symptoms observed during the experimentation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
