Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the Greek Association of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders (Alzheimer Hellas) explored the effects of a virtual reality (VR) training system called VRADA on the cognitive functioning of older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The study involved 122 participants who were randomly assigned to different groups, including the VRADA group, a bike group, a physical exercise group, a mixed group, and a non-contact control group. The results showed that the VRADA group exhibited improvements or no deterioration in cognitive decline, specifically in global cognitive function, verbal memory, and executive functions. This study suggests that the VRADA system can enhance the cognitive function of individuals with MCI. [Extracted from the article]
