Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at the University of Baghdad in Iraq explored the efficacy of a modified toggle splint with nylon suture for the stabilization of coxofemoral luxation in dogs. Coxofemoral luxation is a common orthopedic condition in dogs. The study involved five adult mongrel dogs and found that the treatment splint was effective in achieving good reduction and fixation in four out of five dogs.
